| 概要 | With Covid-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology promoted the online education in schools in Japan after the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education upon demand for closure of all the schools. For this reason, the elementary schools across Japan are almost ready to implement ICT education. In this study, we gave an online class on cancer and medical endoscopes at remote location with such ICT environment developed. The comparison of the survey before/after the class revealed the effect on the understanding of innovative medical endoscope technology in the medical and engineering fields, and the effect of the career education for possible stronger interest among children in medical fields after learning about the medical instrument. Here we would like to report the educational effect of the ICT education through online class we verified. |
