概要 | In the present study, stratified
swirling flows are numerically solved for a simplified cylindrical container with rotating sidewall. Flow behavior is compared for a fluid with negligible buoyancy and a stratified fluid. The question of whether the bulk of fluid rotates or not under the imposition of large vertical temperature difference is addressed and the influence of sidewall boundary conditions is plainly illustrated. |
