概要 | In order to suppress earthquake damage to architectural heritage, it is necessary to measure the earthquake response of those architectural heritage. Moreover, if the shaking of the building at the time of an earthquake can be measured directly, there is a possibility that the damage given to the building by the earthquake can be evaluated. For that purpose, the authors developed a highly accurate acceleration monitoring device. We installed several acceleration monitoring devices on architectural heritage sites such as Japanese five-storied pagodas, Nepalese temples, and Greek Parthenon temples, and measured the earthquake response of these architectural heritages.
In this paper, we show how to measure the seismic response using the developed acceleration monitoring device. Responses of seismic motion observed by devices installed in Japanese five-storied pagodas, Nepalese temples and Greek temples. |
